PHILOSOPHY
To do anything well, some intuitive knowledge of the material at hand is required; this intuition is called talent.
However, talent alone, without knowledge and hard facts is not enough. Talent does not need to be described; the
facts do need to be set forth and that is the purpose of formal instruction.
The ability to play any musical instrument is accomplished by the concise application of logical and
comprehensible musical concepts and techniques which attains amazing heights of expression when utilized in
conjunction with a trained and imaginative talent.
We wish to afford to serious students of music these musical concepts and techniques which, coupled with the
guidance of an experienced instructor, can train an individual to an artistic level of performance.
